    DARK GUARDIAN
An archaeological dig on an ancient Roman watchtower in Northern England reveal finds that are almost impossible to accept and create some unwelcome interest from the authorities. Centuries earlier with the Roman Empire still consolidating its conquest of Britannia, Decurion Flavius leads a meagre cavalry force in pursuit of a renegade party of British tribesmen who threaten the same remote watchtower. As they advance, even the weather seems to turn against them, but the enemy they must eventually face proves far deadlier than anything the Roman Empire has ever dealt with before...

about

DARK GUARDIAN
Dark Guardian started life, many years ago, as part of a writers workshop exercise. I have always found The Roman Empire, and in particular Roman Britain, an interesting topic. It slightly baffles me that there has been so little popular fiction based around it. To the Romans, the province of Britannia must have seemed like what the North West frontier of India was to the British or the Wild West to the Americans centuries later. So in my opening I had a unit of Roman cavalry hunting down a group of renegade tribesmen in the same way the U S. cavalry used to in the John Ford films I'd loved as a youngster. But when I added the Science Fiction dimension I found it was perfect.

THE NATASHA X SHOW
I grew up with Natasha X. It's a familiar tale, a child finding an old box of comics at the back of a wardrobe and having their life changed forever. Well, they were mostly old Woman's Day magazines actually, but amongst them were five copies of the original 1940s Natasha X comics. They were in bad shape, but for me it was love at first sight.
From then on I was obsessed. Of course, not too many people have heard of Natasha these days. So it was a great honour to be given to opportunity to bring Natasha into the limelight once more. An all new adventure. I've tried to work in all the old characters, and to recapture the flavour of those old comics that I know and love so well. However it
turns out, one thing is for sure, Natasha X is back.
